Morrissey Compton Education Center (Palo Alto, California) has educational specialists and psychologists who are very helpful in working with the parents and the child in assessing the issue and recommending ways to help with the situation. They also have advocates on staff who can help the parents in working with the public school system in getting an effective IEP (Individual Educaton Plan) for their child at the public school system. They also have psychologists and educational specialists on staff who can assess kindergarten readiness, which may be very helpful in your case.

Sierra School in Santa Clara, www.sierraschool.com/, works with children who have learning challenges. They are a K-12 private school - a friend's daughter attends and it's been a good fit for her.

I'm not from California, but I have a son with ADHD. In order to try and better help you, I have some other questions... Who diagnosed your daughter with ADHD, and did they also test for learning disabilities at the same time? How are you treating it? Is your daughter taking any medication? What are your daughter's main difficulties in school? Does she have an IEP?
Rather than answer here, I'd like to invite you to join and repost your questions, with more background, in the Learning and Attention Difficulties Group at community.greatschools.net/groups/11554, where many more parents who understand what you're dealing with can share their expertise.
