I appreciate your response, but I already went through this site. There are only (3) comments made for 2008 (06/02/08, 04/22/08, 02/04/08). Two were negative and the other positive. I don't find the test scores to be a real significance because they are based upon an average, not actual data.
I have found where there is little parent involvement, it tends to determine the level of commitment. The parents within Chichester School District (Boothwyn, PA) have a high commitment and you are able to witness this dedication by the Homeschool Association who actually gives money toward activities, supplies, and the list goes on. Is this why the taxes are so high? I don't know, but I must base my decision upon people that take part in their child's education.
For instance, parents can say it is a bad school but are they doing their part? I am a parent that stays on top of my children and they understand that they have a responsibility to play. I believe as I play my part, that the teachers have an obligation, as well. We all must be accountable for the success of our children's future.
I still appreciate your response. I think I will do better when I go visit the school for myself. Thanks!
There you can read parent reviews, see test scores, find out how long the teachers have been at the school, and plenty of other ways to evaluate the school.
Good luck with the move!
