would like to know if its possible to view our child progress reports online? James weldon Johnson has that advantage. They can view grades and progress reports.

The school district which I live in DOES have grades online... they use something called "PowerSchool" in which the teachers post grades daily. I would assume that the school district simply has to decide that this is a priority and spend the money to do it... and then require the teachers to use it!
I must say, I love it! I can even have my child's grades sent to me via email on a daily, weekly, or quarterly basis. That way, I can keep track of their assignments and know if they are falling behind.

it would be nice to have the advantage of having grades and progress reports online. I believe we could better help our children if we know what's going on. Most children do not get progress reports to their parents. there is another suggestion.... give the dates the progress reports are given to students and report cards. Some of us are grandparents and can not get to the schools. also make communication a lot better for parents or grandparents.
