Looking for a great private elem school in Orange County CA

We are relocating very soon to Brea/Yorba Linda/Anaheim hills area and having a very hard time finding a private elementary school. Suggestions welcome!

In orange do not consider Eldorado Emerson unless you are a mom that is willing to close your eyes and ears. They have a clear do not ask do not tell policy. They pretend to create a smooth gentle transition but if you have any qualms do not share them at all with any of the staff because you will be handled rudely by the administration and sent on your way.

Hephatha Lutheran School in Anaheim Hills has an excellent academic and extra-curricular program. Loving environment. Small class sizes.

You should consider Independence Christian School. They are a great school. I went there and my kids are there now. High academic standards, but not in such a way that kids even realize they're learning more than normal....Plus you get great teachers, before and after school care, involved parents (even us full time working parents). The teachers are very accomodating, and help the single parents out too. Here is a link to their website:

In Costa Mesa, CA there is an excellent private school called St. John the Baptist.
