Gahanna/Westerville preschool recommendations

Anonymous
I live in the Gahanna/Westerville area. My child was attending a home-based preschool where he was learning word families and beginning to read. The owner, unfortunately decided to retire after 20 years and now my son is enrolled at a large daycare facility where he is going to preschool 3 days a week - but I am not happy.
It is really expensive and I don't feel like the teachers and admin's are not on top of things like they should . I just don't have a great feeling about it like I did at his previous school. He also isn't being exposed to the type of material he was before.

Anyone have recommendations on a great preschool for a 4-yr old? Mainly looking for great teachers who genuinely care about the children and have a somewhat structured environment where I can see a lesson plan for a month/week.

Thanks for your input!

Thanks for the input - I have also heard great things about Central College Preschool and I like the Christian based learning. Thanks again!

I live in the Gahanna/Blacklick area and I have two boys. When we first moved here I sent my oldest to Central College Preschool. I absolutely loved it! It was a little far to drive once we found a house in Blacklick so we sent him to G.E.E.C. Gahanna Early Experience Center off of Morse Rd housed in St. Luke's Church. My youngest attended Christian Academy PS. I love the teachers there. They are on top of it! The best part is they have wrap around childcare for the working parents. I am a stay at home mom, but would utilize the hot lunch program and extended care hours till 1:00 pm. All preschoolers nap from 1-3pm. You can pick your child up at anytime. I think hot lunches are around 2.25, but you can also bring sack lunch from home. The extended care is 2.50 or 3.00 per hour (can't beat that!). My son loved staying for hot lunch and then some extra playtime with friends before I picked him up.
