We are moving to O.C. How is Harbor view Elem? Their K and Pre-K? Any recos on family-friendly neighbohood?

WE are moving from the Bay Area, from a very good public school here. I like to know if there are any good mother's groups in the Corona del mar area? We are interested in that area so we experience life near the ocean.

We also like to know of any good swimming schools in the area?

Thanks.

Our family did not have a good experience at that school. Many of the girls are sexualized by their mothers early and kindergartners ask questions about what stores do you shop at. Same girls wore Burburry dresses to school. Room mom had a huge breast augmentation and couldnt sit down because her skirt was so short. I think there are people that like the school and have had better luck with the mix of kids in their class. If you want a swim program join the NB Tennis Club or move to HarborView Hills and get on their swim teams. Their school is not as coastal but the neighborhood is 100% kid friendly. CDM is not a kid friendly town, more friendly to dogs. Many singles and empty nesters. Its a beautiful place, but my experience was that it was not easy to raise children there. Not many amenities for kids. Adult friendly.
