Most schools send home some sort of calendar during the first couple weeks of school; this generally includes events such as days off, end of quarters/semesters, when reports are sent home, etc. The dates of events, like breaks, vary from location-to-location (ie: states, districts). If you didn't get one, lost it, or whatever, call the office and request one be sent home with your child or, if possible, e-mailed to you.

You should read the information your child's school gave you at the beginning of the school year.
