You also search the Maryland State Department of Education website. They keep a running list of school performance.

Eleanor Roosevelt in Greenbelt is good if you get into the Science and Technology program. It is huge though. I would try to relocate to Montgomery County. Much better public school system than PG!

I ditto md2mom...Prince George's County overall is not known for a quality school system, though they may have individual schools which excel. Montgomery County, however, is more affluent, which is also reflected in the overall quality of the school program. Howard County I am not familiar with, which probably means since we don't hear about it ,it must be good. PG however, we hear only negative things on the news.
