alternative/postive teaching method

We are moving to Arlington next year from WA.. Our 7 year old son currently goes to a montessori school here in WA. Unfortunately, the only montessori schools close by are either in Cambridge or Lexington at about $18-20k per year:( this is above our budget). Our son will be in 3rd grade next year and I was wondering if there are any public schools in Arlington that use a positive teaching method (for example that the teachers are taught the "love and logic method" and need to use this positive teaching.) I am looking for a school that makes teaching fun and enforces "praise the good, ignore the bad"
