Kim3435
I'm basicly wondering about homeschooling part of the time and sending my child to school the rest of the time. I just moved here from Texas and they had something similar

Thanks for the info! My daughter is doing 1st grade at home and my son will be in K next school year. I looked it up on the web and it looks great...I plan to call and get more info and to see if there is a waiting list. Are you thinking of all day homeschooling. I actually love it at least up until this year...I have twin boys who are now 1 and are a handfull. It would be a little easier if the big kids attended a few days a week. Again, thank you for the information-it's been very helpful.

Blessings,

My son hasn't attended there b/c we are still making decisions (he'll be in K). I did speak at the homeschool convention with a man whose children attend there, and he is very pleased with the academics and the atmosphere. The link is www.veritasnorman.org- I hope that posts.

P.S. the link says norman, but they are now in OKC.

I don't know if you were willing to look at private schools, but Veritas Classical Academy has a blended model. The students attend Tuesdays and Thursdays, and are home the other days. Once they are in 7th grade, they also attend on Friday mornings for upper level math, science, and humanities. HTH

P.S. Just re-read the title...duh. I guess you are willing to look at private! :P
