My memories of TH Harris on West Metairie were of a school wracked with conflict, some of it physical. One focus of the education provided was remedial in nature, as 15 and 16 year olds frequently participated in 8th grade athletics. Sadly, while the public school system in Jefferson Parish is a step above that in Orleans Parish, the hierarchy still exists for grammar and primary education, public schools below parochial, and then private education, with few exceptions. Please fight for better opportunity for your children than TH Harris.
