Truly, its about time they start cutting out Holloween. They have cut out ALL Christmas parties, in fact a teacher got upset at my daughter for her wishing him a "Merry Christmas", he stated, "its happy Holidays", she stated, "No, its Merry Christmas". The point I'm trying to make is that its mostly because of politics. Additinally, if you read the history behind holloween, its not a holiday at all, it actually originated from a pagan celebration. Also we all need to be careful what we call "holiday", this comes from, "holi=day", and holloween is fAR from being holy.. Study up on it on the WEB and your local library if you truly mean your name as "godsarmy", you'll NEVER have your kids participate.

Is this at specific school? I have seen that some elementary schools due this mainly at some schools where it starts based on this:

The decision comes after an ongoing discussion culminated two weeks beforehand where this is somewhat an “emotional” meeting with teachers, during which the discussion focused on school holiday parties and how the school can continue to celebrate without leaving out anyone.

Generally, its idea behind customes, where there is blood, guts, and knives and the idea this conveys.

Also, can some parents afford customs for their children? It comes down to the school doing what they think is right and hopefully getting the parents and staff's feedback and thoughts overall.
