H.S. Parents, What do you allow your daughter to wear at school?

Anonymous
I'm still seeing young ladies with the crop tops, low cut tops, belly buttons showing. I also see it in Jr. High, and middle schools. Whats going on?

Do you notice if the students are following the dress code? Are the schools enforcing this?

My 17 year old daughter is not allowed to wear anything to school, that she wouldn't wear to church!

Some schools are not really enforcing the dress code at all, at my teens high school, kids wear what ever they like, mini skirts, tank tops showing belly buttons and other things, pants almost falling and showing underwear, tatoos etc. I buy my daughter's clothes and I won't let her wear nothing innapropiate or that shows something she shouldn't, anyway I am lucky because, she doesn't like to wear that kind of clothes, she wears jeans and shirts mostly of the time.

If there is a problem at the school and it appears that the schools administration does not care to enforce the rules, then take your case to the School Board, who is elected and has overall authority over the schools of the district.

Pretty much anything I have been fortunate not to have to say anything but the school allows belly-buttons showing. I am in the Bible belt but the school systems are under a lot of pressure to be more flexiable as more and more parents are sueing the school systems over so really crazy things and the school systems can not continue to afford it so they have become more acceptable of ideas (nice way to put it)

I do not know if you remember this or not but in the 60's-70's Airline stewardess's dress's were so short. Those same short dresses were allowed in schools Along with those Boots made for Walking......
So in some ways the dress code is better.
