DOE schools are in the process of revamping the Chapter 56 law which is Hawaii Special Education Law. No where does it talk about inclusion or mainstreaming students. Hawaii needs to move forward and get disabled students into the regular education classrooms, instead of placing them in Fully Self Contained Classrooms.
