Should my daughter have been suspended?

Anonymous
My daughter was suspended for supposedly cutting a girls hair.. There is no proof, no witnesses. She feels that she was forced into apologizing to a student whom mind you in the past , 2 years ago the same girl who claims she cut her hair pushed my daughter so my daughter pushes her back and my daughter got suspended for it because they only saw my daughter do it! This girl has called my daughter racial slurs, fat a%% and ugly B*Tch and because noone heard her on the staff part This girl was not suspended. Should my daughter have been suspended?

Most important - what is the truth? Regardless of who saw what - did your daughter cut this student's hair?
If not - then you need to proceed with a formal request to remove the suspension from your daughter's record. If your daughter did participate in the hair cutting - you need to address that as an inappropriate response to an ongoing problem. Either way, it sounds like both children need some help in settling this dispute. The school should corrdinate this effort.
