PriyaJain: If your family will be establishing a residence in the United States, then it is my understanding that your son is eligible to attend a public school while you are here.
However, in the United States, children begin kindergarten at age 5 -- unless their birthday occurs very close to the beginning of the school year.
I suggest that you contact the school district in Boston and ask your questions directly. I presume that your family will be in Boston for business purposes and in that case, the company that is helping with your relocation can assist you in this area as well.
