Oh My.....Do you know what day in age this is? First and foremost it is not an easy job raising children...Let me guess you are a teacher...who is very happily married and has children who are for lack of better words...upstanding in all areas...now reality check ..some people cant afford to live in nice upscale areas where there children are not faced with some of the real issue of todays life....Or they are very sheltered from it...There are drugs ,violence, bullying, alcohol, guns everywhere some are exposed on a daily basis ,others a little and some none at all....The reality is for some... this is a way of living and others are appalled at this...if you were raised like this that is all you know...Some familys dont condone this but have to live in areas that this kind of behavior is second nature...The children that are drug addicted or smart mouths or hard - - - - - - We need to get to the real problem and by doing this you ask yourself 2 questions..Did it come from the parents if so we need to be hard on the parents and help the child....Is this a learned behavior from other kids in the area then if so...Take them out of the situation and put them in your home...since you care so much to start this forum...I have and would again!!!!
Any student that attends a Douglas public school will be subject to a horrible education, will not understand or even consider a respectful attitude towards adults, teachers, parents, or themselves. They will also engage in activities such as smoking marijuana under bridges and at baseball fields.
