There are mostly white families in Troy. There are Asian and Middle Eastern families too.

Thanks- I will keep looking for percentages. Any idea how many African-American and/or Asian Indian we have?

greatschools actually has a complete breakdown by race of students by school. Troy was our first choice when we were moving to the area because the schools are the most diverse with top rated schools in the area without going out as far as Ann Arbor. Some elementary schools in Troy are as low as 45 % white, which is fabulous for all the kids. Unfortunately, we had some other specific house needs that drove us up to Rochester instead.
