Need info on Schools that have knowledge of Asperger's Syndrome in Dallas, Texas

My step son was just DX with Asperger's Syndrome, and we are having problems with the school knowing how to teach him. What can we do, and is there any schools in our area that can help? He is a Sophmore in High School, and has the mental age of maybe a 6-7 yr old child. PLEASE HELP, we are desperate...

Great Lakes Academy is a great school for kids with Asperger's Syndrome. They are located in Plano. Class sizes are small with a (1:8) teacher/student ratio with trained teachers who know about not only Asperger's but various learning differences. Give them a call to set a tour at 972-517-7498.
