I agree, you need to talk to your son's teacher to find out how he's adjusting. Often times when kids first enter pre-school they are anxious, afraid and unsure of what to do. One of the things that I did when my daughter first attended was to discuss what would happen when she goes to school (schedule of activities, meeting new friends, all the FUN learning, etc.). I also told her that all the people in school are there to help and not to feel shy when she needed something. The first couple of days were hard when I'd drop her off but as the first week passed and she learned how fun pre-school could be, she would actually push me out of the room because class was starting.

Sure she also had a couple of accidents but that's why I packed extra clothes for her to change to. Eventually her "accidents" stopped. I think she felt the peer pressure of other kids who were wearing their big-girl panties.

Rest assured, your son will soon master this area and will be just fine :-) Good luck!

How old is your son. Do you ask the teacher why your son will not speak with her or him. Getting to know the problem from his teacher will help you help your son.

Some boys take time in potting training and need a lot of encouragement and practice from parents. Try training pant and if you have the time, visit the classroom for an observation.

I hope this help!
