There is an adorable picture book called "The Kissing Hand" that you might want to read with her. In it, a little raccoon is nervous about leaving his momma for school, and they have a little special kiss on the hand they give each other to ease the separation.

I'm not suggesting this will be a magic bullet, but if your daughter connects with the characters, it might help.

my middle child who is now 8 went through the same thing when she was in kindergarden she cryed for 2 weeks straight the principal called me everyday so that she could talk to me and assure her that i was going to be home when she got there. finally it stopped.i blame myself for that because she had never been away from me since birth. because she was born early and they told us she probably wouldnt make it .so she pulled through and i never let her leave my side.
