Parent Answers to "How are charter schools in st.louis"

I have several friends that have chosen Charter schools. (St Louis Charter Schools, Imagine Academy, etc) All of them are happy with the programs. The Charter schools offer extra curricular activities that are not always available at the other St Louis Public Schools. These include after school activities, sports, music, etc. The MAP test scores aren't any better than other St Louis Public Schools but who thought they would be? As long as we as parents are doing our job at home, (unless the schools is absolutely horrible, which I can think of only a couple in the district) then you're fine.. charter, magnet or whatever.
