the principal challenged my daughter statements

issabella
My daugther was involved in a bully situation. She said that she was not part of that but her friend. She was asked about to say the truth for three times and she still says that she is innocent. She was told by the principal that the expulsion from school could take place if she keeps hidden the truth; all that happened in my absence and my dauther is 7 year old. Is that legal? thank you. ( I'm sorry for my English but thank you)

Also what state are you in, as here in Washington State a warning is given not an explusion for the first offense.

Ehy is it the principal does not believe your daughter? I would think the principal would be willing to hear from all sides and to take a fair approah to discipline. Is your daughter the only child who received an expulsion from school? Have you talked with other parents about this and especially your daughters friend parents? I would also think that a warning might be more appropriate then an explusion unless the principal has information from others pointing your daugter as the trouble maker. Have you contacted the school board or school district? I would, if your daughter is innocent as you state and believe it is worth it and you have nothing to lose.
