Royal Oak has 2 full day kindergarten schools. Oakland and Upton. They are hope to make all the kindergartens full day eventualy. If you don't want full day they said it can be worked out for now.

I checked the Royal Oak Public Schools website, and it appears at least most of them are half-day and offer a half-day enrichment program that parents pay for. The other two are starting a full-day kindergarten pilot program this year.
