Greatschools is a nationwide website, and there are more than one Rich East H.S. in the U.S.
At my son's high school, there is a crime prevention police officer assigned, and he attends all the monthly Parent's Club Meetings, and provides a report of any occurrences. My suggestion would be to contact the local police department of whatever town your high school is located in, and ask them for statistics.
