After school care for my son

I am a single mom who just moved here from California and am looking for someone after school to watch my son and I am having a really hard time. I also have never had to leave him with anyone other than his grandmother so it's kind of scary for me to just leave him. Does anyone know anyone that is trustworthy? Please help!!

Thank you. We don't have one here where I live. I guess it would have helped if I would have put where I lived, I live in Nevada in a small town about 80 miles outside of vegas. Is seems like no one around here wants to watch a child after the age of 5.

Hi, hopefully this helps, I'm not sure what town you live in, but the local YMCA (Ocean or Monmouth County) offers After School Care at each elementary school. You can find info about it by contacting your local YMCA. The hours usually run about 1-2 hours before the school day begins, and until about 6pm after school. Hopefully that helps!!
