Any thoughts on the IB program offered by highschools?

Im a 9th grader going into the IB program and was just wondering about everyone elses thoughts on the program. . .
I've always done very well in school but I've had to work alot harder than all of the other kids to maintain straight a's. . . will I be able to pass the IB cirriculim????

yes. I live in Florida.

I only picked IB over AP because you earn an IB diploma instead of a standard diploma; many colleges offer special scholarschips with an IB diploma. Plus, the school that is in my 'zone' to attend doesnt offer the IB program, and I really did not want to go there. . . at all. (The school that Im attending has a much better academic and athletics program. )

Can I ask if you're on the East Coast? I'm in the Midwest (Chicago area,) and the IB program isn't commonly offered by many high schools locally, but AP Courses are. My nephew earned enough AP credits while in high school to start off as a college Sophomore, and he got "full 4-year scholarship offers" to several universities, where he's maintained his "straight A" status.
