If you click on the "Research & compare" tab on the green menu bar near the top of this page, you'll find Playa Del Rey rates "8" and Island Elementary rates "9" on statewide testing.
The school is in Gilbert, Arizona. I've been trying to compare the school Playa Del Rey, a A+ school of Excellency, to Island Elementary, an Excelling School. Not sure if this means the same thing or if the A+ ranks at a higher level. I couldn't find anything about the ratings on this site or the Gilbert Public School's website.
Looks like this might be Arizona. While California has Blue Ribbon Schools and Distinguished Schools, I hadn't heard of A+ School of Excellence until I just Googled it.
Greatschools is a nationwide community, and unfortunately you didn't mention the city/state where your school is located...A "google" search showed there are schools by that name in CA and AZ. Is it public or private? What grade level? I've never heard of an A+ School of Excellency...could it be some sort of designation within your state or among a certain type of school?
