You can say you are homeless and they will register you? How does the school get away with that? Do you have people coming from other districts?
In SC we have to show a current power bill and immunizations.
Need two proofs of residency, state of Texas immunization record, birth certificate, social security number.

Was your child in kindergarten elsewhere? In my state, when children are first entering elementary school (usually Kdg.) they must have a full physical, and the pediatricians will give all recommended innoculations/booster shots, etc. I would think what you need to do is provide a copy of the doctor's record that shows your child's immunization history, along with proof of your current residency, and that should be adequate to get your child registered.
To be sure, just call the local school district, and ask.
