Should I let my sons new teacher know that he is in an after school academic program?

His last teacher in Pre-K 4 was not to fond of it.

Unless there's a reason your Kumon tutor wants feedback from his regular classroom teacher, then there probably is no need to mention it.

He's in Kumon and I would say it's an enrichment course.

May I ask what kind of academic program you're talking about? Was it for "remediation" purposes, to help your child keep up with his peers, or is it for "advancement" purposes? The preschool teacher may have felt it's more important for young children to have "free time" to play and explore the world, not necessarily sit in a structured class for additional time. If the academic program is for remediation purposes, then I think feedback from the teacher could be helpful in allowing the tutor to know what areas need more emphasis.
