What is a good middle school in Huntsville?

I will be moving to Huntsville next year and I have an 11 year old son that is advanced in may classes and I would hate for him to fall behind because of lack of advance or honor classes. I would like a diverse school with a mixed student body. I am not racist nor prejudice, I would just like a mixed crowd.

Hampton Cove Middle School is outstanding.

If you are looking for one of the best schools in Huntsville I believe you should look at Hampton Cove Middle School. GreatSchools.net has it listed in Owens Cross Roads AL but it is within the city limits of Huntsville and is part of the Huntsville City School system. I have 1 child that just finished 8th grade and another that just finished 6th grade. The school has Honors classes in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies.

The only ONE would be Academy for Academics and Arts if you want a diverse school. It is a public Magnet school and you must apply. Another magnet is Academy for Science and Foreign Language. Only know it by name. No experience with faculty or students. You can google it. Private school: Randolph is one of the best prep schools in the U.S.with a very diverse student body, Cauc., Asians, Indians. Truly advanced: spend the bucks at Randolph.
