If you are planning to move to Houston in the area of the Woodlands, I can tell you, is one of the greatest areas of Houston, excellent schools with excellent ratings and good neighborhood, but expensive more than other places, but it lovely and beautiful, I loved to go and watch the fireworks over there, when I used to lived in Texas.
My brother in law and his wife, as well as a good friend, have lived in The Woodlands for a few years now...if you'd like I could pass on your email to them. One family attends the public school there (I'm pretty sure) and the other is at the Christian Academy.
