We enjoyed the "Mulberry School" in Yorba Linda on La Palma. It's in a nice area, the teachers seemed to care, and Adam Kennedy thought it was good enough for Quinn.
What I liked was that they had a karate studio next door that they worked with and also a dance teacher came into the daycare.
I guess it is now. We also have been to Tutor Time (in another state) and I liked their facilities and the interaction with the teachers and students. When we went to Mulberry, they were not affiliated with KinderCare. If they had been, we may not have chosen them for personal reasons.
Is this for a preschooler or a child that is in kindergarten or above? Our favorite childcare in CA was at the Bryant Ranch school. That program run by Reba Collins is very well organized, has little turnover, and is at the school. It also has a summer program that is very well run.
Unfortunately, for a preschool child in CA my experience is limited. Best practice is to go in and observe. Do not exclude Montessori schools - if we had the funds to send our children there they would never have gone elsewhere.
We loved AmeriMont Academy in Anaheim Hills. Our son learned so much and loved the teachers, we only wish it continued past kindergarten! He just got accepted into Fairmont where they were also very impressed with his skills!
Thanks. I have some visits set up next week at: Trinity Luteran Christian School-preschool
Taft Community(Children's House)-for my 2 year old
Stonehaven(Kindercare)-before she turns 2 years old
Heritage Oak-preschool
Calvary Chapel Community Church- for both
If anyone has heard anything about the above, let me know.
Thanks. I'm not too sure about Stonehaven, for the same reason, it's under a large name of Kindercare.
I don't know much about Kindercare, as I currently reside in Canada, and we don't have it here.
What are the concerns to watch our for? Have you heard anything about the Stonehaven Kindercare?
