I am in the SAME spot you are. THey would like for him to begin 1/2009 and am going out of my mind trying to figure out what to do. We adopted him late in his life (8), he is now 15 and he is also diagnosed with bypolar, fetal alcohol, adhd, reactive attachment disorder and has been a crime victim. I don't seem to be able to get any help anywhere?! ANd from what I now understand is that Cherry Crk school system which is literally 2 lights away from me will NOT take him because we do not live there??!! I have lived in NJ and CA and have NEVER heard such crazyness, whatever happened to making kids our priority !!! Please, if you hear of anything contact me ASAP !! Thanks! 303-351-8874

How old is your child? There's a difference between therapeutic schools for kids with emotional needs, versus self-contained classrooms in conventional schools. You might want to join/speak to the moderator (jisper) of this Therapeutic Schools Group here at Greatschools: community.greatschools.net/groups/12393
