"International Academy" in Bloomfield Hills is a public high school, yet I heard that not everyone can attend.

Does anyone know how to apply for the school? If we need to take an exam, when should we apply? What is the school's priority? Do we need to live in the area to attend? Is there other U.S. top 100 schools in Michigan?

Hi alohaspirit,

Great Schools is a nationwide community of parents, so it might be a while before someone from your area responds.

It appears from their website that International Academy accepts students from 11 Oakland County school districts and offers an International Baccalaureate curriculum. Their website is available at www.iatoday.org/

I took the time to find the Great Schools page on the school and you can read the reviews here www.greatschools.net/school/parentReviews.page?id=5221&state=MI

In terms of specific questions regarding the school, I'd contact them directly.

Good luck!
