What’s the best Mother’s Day gift you’ve given or received?

kkornas
I live 2,000 miles away from my mom, while my two brothers are still in our hometown. One of my mom's favorite things in the world is having her three kids together in one place, and this year, I'll be visiting the weekend before Mother's Day. My mom can't stop talking about how excited she is -- it's definitely one of the best gifts I could give her for Mother's Day!

How about you? What's the best Mother's Day gift you've received from your kids, or the best gift you've given to a special mom in your life?

i guess i am a little spoiled but i was only trying to add a little, tiny, itsy- bitsy, almost unnoticeable bit of humor. i must have succeeded with the unnoticeable part.
oh well father's day is coming and i'm sure my just turned 13 year old- i-poding [?] , instant messaging, texting and computering daughter and i will have a great day if i can only find a place to hide her stuff.......
It's so hard to choose because every year the gift I receive from my daughter is so special. This year she embridered my inital on a pillow case--it brought tears to my eyes. She is the best thing that has happened to me in my life!!!

Yesterday brought me two of the best ever gifts I've ever received and both will surprise you:

I woke up in a tent because our daughter's 7th grade learning community had a weekend camp-out. Imagine my surprise when I saw that my SUV had been TP'd and Saran-wrapped! I felt honored that the teens had singled me out -- along with their favorite teacher for this honor.

The second gift was a text-messaged card from one of my daughter's best friends -- plus a call.

I look forward and receive lovely cards and gifts from my family but it was delightful to receive cards, hugs and even a TP job from my daughter's friends.
You are a guy and you are not suppose to recieve a mother day gift. You have to wait till father day come, but if you just want a special gift and you act right toward your wife, girlfriend,or child then I think they should give you a small gift.you sound like you are spoil, but I say to you wait your turn will come even if you don't father a child, you will get something on your birthday.this message goes out to the guy who say he never got a mother day present.lol
