Does your child's school have a way for the parent(s) to gain acess to their child's academic record prior to getting a note or call from their teacher about a potential problem. My children's school has a program installed called Zangleweb Parent Connect and the schools issue a pin and password where I can go online and view their grades before progress reports and report cards are issued. This tool has been very helpful in pinpointing areas of improvement and it is also helpful because I can view upcoming homework assignments that are due and be better involved in helping my child achieve.
