School Districts

MKabina67
I recently had to move in with mother and I am not sure if we are still in the Bel Air High School and Elementary district..my 14yr old has had alot of emotional problems this year and I would hate to have him change schools. Are we still within the high school district or do I need to ask for a boundary exception..and if I do how do I go about it. Any suggestion or guidance will be appreciated.

The best way to find out whether you are still within the school or district boundary is to call the school district. Sometimes they also list school boundaries on their website. They should also have information about what you can do to appeal that he stay in the same school if you are now outside their boundaries.

You can use our Research and Compare tool to find the contact information for your school or district. In the "Search for Schools Nationwide" box there is a link that says, "Browse by district." If you click on this link and choose your state from the drop down box you can find our listing for the district.

You can also try contacting a local real estate agency as they sometimes have this sort of information. Best of luck!

You've posted on a nationwide website, not on a specific website of the school district you're asking about...I suggest that you phone them for information, along with giving them the exact address where you're at.
