I live in Las Vegas ... both communities are good??? You just need to find what will work for you???

Unfortunately, Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and the chance of finding a person who lives in the same community as you're looking is slim...I'm in the Chicago area, and have been a Greatschools member for several months, but haven't found anyone yet who lives closer than 45 minutes from where I'm at....

Thank you!

I believe the same about preparing for schools. I guess I wanted to know from the perspective of a resident of Las Vegas- from what you know, what would be best? Thanks!

If you're asking from the standpoint of schools, it's nearly impossible to tell what will happen by the time your child reaches kindergarten, in any location. Administrators change, and a new principal can really influence the "tone" of a school by hiring different teachers, using different curriculum, etc.
I would advise you to look at other amenities in a community, and talk to some people in the neighborhoods that you're considering moving to, to see what they think.
