Does anyone have experience with Desert View Academy in Yuma?

Chef-Tess
We are transfering to Yuma Arizona and would like some input on a good charter school. I'm leaning toward Desert View Academy. Any experiences would help.

Desert View Academy is a Charter school and they cater k -6. It is one of the best elementary schools in Yuma. The Principal and staff are great. They have a great Character trait program and the academics are above average.
My daughter went to DVA for her 4th and 5th grade.DVA is a sister school to Carpe Diem Collegiate High school. So, when your children pass elementary school they have a high school to go to which has the same learning environment

Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to get me the link. I did see this page but wanted to see if there where any other responses out there. I am so concerned about this move. We just love the school where we are (Mesa, Arizona) and want to be sure we are making the most informed choice for a town so far out of my frame of reference. It looks like one of the best ones in Yuma. The last parent review was last September.

I did a quick search for Desert View Academy on GreatSchools.net. You may have already seen this, but here's a link to the school page:

It looks like there are a few Parent Reviews for the school, which may be helpful.
