school in need of improvement

i live in Long island ,ny and my public school is classified as school in need of improvement ,they are giving me a school choice but that school is not good but didnt come school in need of improvement.I want to put my child in private school and want to know if there are any vouchers available ?i have been fighting with the school district but nothing is happenning... any advice

my advice would be which i know when it comes to
a private school you can choice any school for your child ,when it comes to public school and depending where you live they go by that and that where they would put the child unless the child needs special services or special education then theywould change that child.unless it for a good reason.but i feel you shouldkeep on fighting with the district and do what u think you should do.

I would go to the private school you're looking to enroll your child and ask the Registrar for information on where to find any available vouchers. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!
