What do you think about Pender High School? This is my son's first year there, we are coming from Europe. From a school that is very suppostive of each kid. How do the teacher at Pender High School help the kids?

Well I'm in Europe right now so I don't have email and the time change doesn't help me either. I just thought that someone could just let me know how it is now. Just in case someone did have a child or know someone with a child that goes there. But thanks for the information I just have to found out all the email address.
Unfortunately, Greatschools is a nationwide forum, and you didn't mention the city/state of your son's school. The chance of a person reading this message board, and having a child at the same school is unlikely.
It sounds like your son is struggling in some areas...have you talked to his counselor at the High school, to ask what they can offer in terms of tutoring or extra teacher's help? (My son is at a different high school, but his school has "writing labs" and "math labs" where teachers are always "on duty" and can help students with problems...it might not be my son's "regular" teacher, but still he can get assistance.)
