I can see that would be a nightmare for childcare and other scheduling. Hopefully one of the folks from NorCal will post some specific suggestions, but for now definitely click the link at the top left hand side of the webpage that says "Research and Compare." There you can type in your zip code and get some suggestions on where to start. Call the school closest to you and get information on why they use that schedule and if all the schools do it (and perhaps the schools that don't use the schedule).
If the entire public school district uses this schedule, you might want to find a private or charter school.
Wacky Wednesday is the only day in which Afternoon Kindergarteners must go to Kindergarten on the Morning Kindergarten schedule from 8-11:30. I am looking for a Afternoon Kindergarten class that goes 5 days a week at the same afternoon time everyday.
We do have several members in Northern California that might be able to help. Can you help explain what "Wacky Wednesday" is?
In the meantime, use the Research and Compare button at the top left of the page to locate schools near you.
