Public education is designed to educate the masses.
Children who have diverse learning and social needs respond differently learning situations. Middle school is an entirely different beast than elementary - couple that with the routine transitional feelings that all children express at this time of growth and development and things can really get out of hand. Parkville is a very large educational setting. Many children covered by IEP's have not met with success in this particular environment. It would appear that the staff is just maxed out. However, there are things you can do to be a successful advocate for your child.
First of all I find your comment to be extremely rude and cowardly since you hid behind anonymous! Although none of your buisness because it doesnt concern you, my son goes to the school and I am wondering if other parents are having some of the same issues with school concerns, teachers etc. SO PLEASE get your mind right before you comment so tastelesly in the future!!
