Private Psychoeducational Assessment in the San Francisco Bay Area--especially for Executive Function

Denali
I know about Morrissey-Compton, The Childrens' Health Council, and the Pratt Center in Los Altos.

Has your child been evaluated by another psychologist or group practice? Can you give me some names?

Morrissey/Compton Education Center does an excellent job of working with both the parents and the child in regards to executive functioning. They are very well respected for their highly qualified staff of psychologists and educational specialists.

We have had some experience a couple of years ago with therapy at CHC in Palo Alto. We found it to be beneficial and the people caring. One issue is though they do seem to have a lot of interns (who are closely supervised) working to get their practical hours. The one we worked with was great, but then she had to leave to finish her Ph.D at a school back east - we used that as a natural break in therapists since we needed to go in a different direction with treatment and insurance issues.

Another place to check into is The Center for Developing Minds in Los gatos - Dr. Damon Korb. www.http://www.devminds.com/
