What are your kids' favorite books? Why?

LindaStrean
My kids loved "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," and years later we still quote it after we've had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, there are some days that are just so bad that, like Alexander, you just wish you could move to Australia!

Right now, my daughter is obsessed with anything "Skippyjon Jones." I'm not sure if it's the lyrical rhymes or if it's the fact a Siamese kitten is convinced he's a Chihuaua, but she's riveted. Of course, she's still willing to perform all of the "pigeon" books by Mo Willems.

My 13 year old daughter reads and re-reads anything and everything by Meg Cabot.
