In My Own Words

Parenting was such a blessing to me as I feel that it's the first thing that I ever did, and I was good at it. I was blessed with the two most precious gifts and I just loved them, every inch of them. It was wonderful being a mom at every stage that they went through. We had some rough spots but my love for them has never wavered. My boys had a rough start. I went to a fertility doc for the first one and the second one was free, only 12+months later. Alex was always bright, smart, inquisitive and very lively. His birth was late and he had meconium aspiration that required him to have a bronchoscopy when he was close to 2. During the procedure he had a stroke type episode and all of his speech that he was already making progress with, just up and got confused. He'd look at something and the little words that he had formed for the object got replaced with a different word. He still requires speech therapy because this is a processing disorder. Jesse was born a little more than 12 months after Alex. I had something called placenta abrupto during his delivery. We are both very lucky to be here today. Jesse was diagnosed with infantile cerebral palsy. You wouldn't know it to look at him today and God really loves Jesse. He is a bright, loving, sensitive, caring and righteous individual who would make a wonderful president of our country. Live was a bit difficult between therapy's and doctors, but we enjoyed the simple things like the reading programs at the local libraries, and the little garden that we made every year in the back yard. Their beginnings were the best days of my life!

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I believe everyone has a purpose in this life and I don't like to classify any group of people. I'd like to meet anyone who would like to meet me with good intent. I like nice people. People with children in high school and I would probably have more in common but any one that wants to discuss their children at any age are okay with me.
