In My Own Words

Our family consists of our three year old son , 10 month old son, and my husband and I. We like to walk with the kids. When it's warm we love the parks, and on the colder days we usually go to the mall. We also like to cook, mostly cookies, but we are known in our family for our Thanksgiving pie baking tradition too. I guess you can say we're pretty flexible. We often pick up and go on a moments notice. Alot of our free time activities are spuratic because my husband works in retail and his days off vary. On our casual days (no housework or activites planned) we like to sit and have coffee/hot cocoa and chat with friends while we do something crafty, like make valentines or color. We also like to play games even if when the kids play with us they don't follow all the rules, (mostly scrabble and monopoly). We have recently joined a gym and aim to teach our older son to swim this year. We are a hands on type of family too. We enjoy our "in progress" backyard and the spuratic barbeques all summer long. We always have time to put our feet in the wading pool on hot summer days. It's becoming a fun little chat time with the kids, and an occasional guest or neighbor who stops by to chat. We always welcome people to join us as it turns out to be such fun.
