In My Own Words

I am a parent and a teacher. I have been involved in education for many years and have successfully navigated the rough seas of high school. I am currently write a blog for the website http://www.morethangrades.com on topics of concern to parents, and I also contribute to their monthly parent newsletter. As a teacher and a parent, I feel I have a unique perspective on the issues facing both groups. Along with the Co-Founders of the site MoreThanGrades, (both of whom are juniors at NYU) I hope to provide parents with guidance and timely information.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

Parents who have high school kids and are going through, or are getting ready to go through, the college admission process. I would like to meet parents who are involved in the planning process and help them avoid the pitfalls many parents fall into.
