Parents I'd Like to Meet

I am interested in meeting other parents of gifted children. As parents of a 10 year old gifted boy, our experience with the educational system has been like a roller coaster with both highs and lows, but mostly a lot of frustration finding the right fit for our son (in terms of classroom environment) and the highly erratic approach to gifted education in our state. I've learned a lot about navigating the system, education advocacy, state law, and being proactive for our child. We are certainly in a better place now and if I can share any of my insight or experiences with other parents, then it will all have been worth it. And, since my son is only in 5th grade, I'm sure there are still bumps in the road ahead, so it would be nice to hear from parents who are in the same boat or have made it to shore!
